The Kitamura Mycenter-3020G-SP 20K “Sparkchanger” is a high-performance vertical machining center engineered to maximize productivity, precision, and cutting capability for small to medium-sized components. Its high-speed 2-station, 180° rotating automatic pallet changer allows operators to load and unload parts while machining continues, significantly reducing non-cutting time. It features 762 x 510 x 510 mm travels, a 500 x 860 mm table, a powerful 20,000 rpm, 20 HP NST #40 dual-contact, 4-step gear-driven spindle, and a 30-tool automatic tool changer. Solid box ways on the X/Y axes, rapid traverse rates of up to 50 m/min in X/Y and 36 m/min in Z, ballscrew cooling and IAC thermal compensation, combined with Kitamura’s advanced Arumatik-Mi CNC control, provide excellent stability and accuracy even in demanding applications.
