Kitamura Mytrunnion-7G is a full simultaneous 5-axis vertical machining center engineered to deliver exceptional precision, rigidity, and capacity when machining large and geometrically complex components. It features 1,119 x 1,380 x 765 mm travels, a Ø1,000 mm trunnion table, and a generous work envelope capable of accommodating parts up to Ø1,171 x 739 mm high, with a maximum load capacity of approximately 2,014 kg. Its powerful 12,000 rpm NST #50 dual-contact, 4-step gear-driven spindle provides the torque and stability required for demanding machining applications. Rigid Meehanite cast-iron construction, zero-backlash roller-cam 4th and 5th-axis rotary technology, scale feedback on all axes, and positioning accuracy of ±0.002 mm ensure consistent accuracy even on large workpieces. With a 100-tool capacity, rapid traverse rates of up to 50 m/min in X/Y, and Kitamura’s advanced Arumatik-Mi CNC control, the Mytrunnion-7G is an ideal solution for aerospace and large high-precision component manufacturing, enabling complex multi-sided machining in a single setup.
